I've always loved making people laugh! As a chronically ill Child from 10 1/2 - 17, I learned the value of great health and fitness as well as how wonderful a tool laughter is to bring joy to people's lives! Making other people (patients, doctors, nurses, staff) laugh made everyone feel better, including me!
At 8 yrs old - give or take a year - I met a comedy magician at a resort in Wisconsin and said, "That's what I want to do!" His name is Hobson and to this day, he continues to be a great friend and mentor to me. In the early 90's, I began entertaining at private parties, in restaurants and booked my first corporate entertainment gig. I've since been entertaining corporate and private audiences coast to coast.
After 9/11, my corporate entertainment business all but tanked for a while. So I followed my other passion and launched a new career in fitness/strength & conditioning. Since 2004 I've been training and designing strength & conditioning programs for the general population of fitness enthusiasts, endurance, high school and collegiate athletes (Working with the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks didn't suck either). I continue to work with those who want to feel, function and perform better than they do today!
Making people laugh is my greatest gift and I use it in all the work I do. What am I doing when I'm not training or speaking? Wow you're nosy! Likely running, working out, cooking, raising money as an auctioneer (yes, auctioneer) and watching my favorite Chicago sports teams try not to suck!
